Q1. Can I run the program on a Mac?
A.  No, this program can only be run on an IBM-compatible machine. 

Q2. Can I run the program on a computer tied to a network?
A.  At this time we do not advise running the program on either a network server or client computer.

Q3.  When I run the program, I get an error message stating, "Cannot find file TOC.a4r".  What should I do?
A.  The most common reason for this message is that your computer has two CD-ROM drives and you have placed the Program Disk in the second drive.  Simply place your disk in the lowest lettered CD-ROM drive and the program should run fine.

Q4.  Are continuing education credits available for nurses?
A.  No. None of the courses are currently accredited for nursing education. However, "The Many Faces of Family Violence" contains much information about child, intimate partner, and elder abuse that is considered essential for nurses. If you are anurse and would like to have accreditation reinstated, please let us know.

Q1. Can physicians use the program to satisfy the Texas Board of Medical Examiner's ethics requirement?

A. Yes. The program sections "Risk Management Strategies for Primary Care" and "Informed Decision-Making" can be used to satisfy this requireement.
